Australian Postgraduate Research Outcomes and Career Pathways


     

 

 

Dear HDR Graduate,

Undertaking a Higher Degree by Research is a significant achievement that requires a substantial investment of time and resources.

We are inviting you to tell us about your HDR experience and how your HDR qualification has impacted on your life and career since you completed your program.
 
By sharing your experiences with us, we aim to
 
  • improve research training by effectively equipping HDR candidates with the skills and resources they need for their future.
  • provide prospective HDR candidates with accurate information about graduate career pathways, to allow them an informed choice about commencing their own HDR journey.

About the survey:

The survey is divided into 7 sections and should take between 15 and 30 minutes to complete depending on your responses and the level of detail you provide.
 
You are able to leave and return to the survey as needed. To do this click on the 'Resume later' button located in the top right-hand corner and you will be prompted to enter a username and password. When you are ready to resume, use the original survey link to return to the survey, click on 'Load unfinished survey' in the top right hand corner, and enter the username and password you chose.
 
There are links throughout that are there to provide more information if needed. We suggest that the links are accessed by right-clicking and opening in a new tab/window to ensure you don't navigate away from the survey.

As a thank you for completing the survey, each participating university is offering a prize pool of $1000. You can choose to go into the prize draw administered by your graduating University to win one of the following:

  • 1 x $500 e-gift card
  • 1 x $200 e-gift card
  • 3 x $100 e-gift cards
 

Griffith University is leading this graduate outcomes survey, in collaboration with other Innovative Research Universities, which leverages the Australian-first HDR Reconnect Project to determine employment outcomes and career pathways of HDR graduates.
